Another cold day, another wool dress, although this isn't really think enough or long enough to be warm. But to be honest I'm only outside for about 5 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes after work. I wait in my house until I see the bus coming down the hill and then run into the bus stop.
Blouse: Winners
Dress: Anthropologie (last worn here)
Tights: from Sock it to Ya (local store)
Boots: Fluevog Radios | ARD (now on sale!)
I bought these boots in the Fluevog SAD sale as a Christmas present to myself. When they came out this Fall I thought they were the perfect black flat boot so when they went on sale I scooped them up.
Most of my boots seem to be flat. I'm not a big fan of boots with heels. Odd that.
When I bought these tights I thought the pattern was bigger than it is. I'm not sure I like these really or maybe not with this outfit.
You know what I hate about winter? Static electricity. My blouse was clinging to my arms all day. Drove me batty!
BATTY!
Thank god tomorrow is Friday!
Lovely boots. Just a nice simple classic style. I'm debuting my new Agnes Adrian boots tomorrow - eee! So excited!
ReplyDeleteI am impressed with your sense of style
ReplyDeleteThose boots are perfect. I like flat boots a lot. I'll also be honest - I didn't see the pattern on the tights until you said something. They're hard to notice in this outfit. Maybe something in blue/grey family will make them pop more?
ReplyDeleteI agree fully with your blog title! A pair of long black boots will be a good next-boots-buy. They go with everything. The heel on these are perfect. When boots have a bigger heel than this, it makes me feel a little like a panto character (Puss in Boots?).
ReplyDeleteGreat boots! I like the round toes, and the scoop neckline detailing of your dress and necklaces.
ReplyDeleteFie on you, static electricity!!!
Note to self: buy wool dresses!
ReplyDeleteThose are definitely the most perfectest boots. My boots tend to all be flat-heeled as well, except for a gorgeous pair of purple and green Neosens ones that I never wear, mostly because of the high heel...sigh.
